FARM SKILLS TRAINING

Look out for farm skills training. We are committed to the ongoing development of skills within the agricultural sector. We provide regular training days many of which result in LANTRA awards for participants.

The next farm skills day is on the 10th March 2010.  We will be covering the structures that make up the foot, the theory behind foot trimming and causes of lameness.  There will hopefully be three crushes working so that attendees will get good hands on experience of foot trimming.  Klaas Dekker a bovine foot specialist will be teaching alongside us aswell.
