Veterinary Surgeons

Tony, a Glasgow graduate joined the practice in 2002. Having grown up in the farming industry he has always taken a particularly keen interest in the farm animal side of the practice. Tony became practice principal in 2007 and holds a Certificate in Dairy Cattle Practice accredited by ESVPS.  He believes in a whole herd approach with particular interests in fertility and mastitis. Tony and his family have their own herd of South Devon cattle.

Sylvie moved to Crediton in 1976. Originally he was involved in large and small animal work but now concentrates on the Farm and Equine side of the practice.

Emma graduated from Liverpool Vet School but also has a degree in biochemistry and toxicology.  She works with both our Small and Farm animals but has a particular interest in Exotics. 

Ben joined us in summer 2009 after qualifying from the Royal  Veterinary College. He also has a degree in Animal science from Reading University. A dairy farmers son, he is particularly interested in dairy cattle health and productivity.

Jane, a graduate of the Royal Veterinary College filled a locum position for us in June 2009 and then decided to stay! She works solely with small animals and she has a Certificate in Feline Practice and Veterinary Physiotherapy both accredited by ESVPS.  She has an interest in Acupuncture.

John moved from Cumbria where he was 1st opinion small animal vet and was also involved in advanced sheep breeding.  He is a graduate of the Royal Veterinary College.  John is married to Corinne and has a daughter called Skye, born Sept 09'.

Ruth graduated from the Royal Veterinary College and worked in farm animal practice in Somerset and Dorset before joining St Boniface in November 2010, as well as cattle she has a particular interest in sheep.
